Privacy policy
noprofits.org builds free and low-cost websites for non-profits across greater Seattle. This policy explains the only personal information we collect — what you send us through the inquiry forms on this site — and exactly what we do with it. We keep this short on purpose.
What we collect
When you submit one of our inquiry forms, we collect only the details you choose to enter:
- Your name
- Your organization's name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- A physical address (optional)
- Anything you write in the message box (optional)
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics, and we don't build a profile of your visit. The site loads no third-party scripts.
Why we collect it
We use your details for one purpose: to reply to you and talk about building your website. We do not use them for marketing lists, and we never sell, rent, or trade your information.
Where it's stored and who can see it
Submissions are saved to a private Google Sheet inside our own Google Workspace and sent to our team by email so we can respond. Only noprofits.org team members can see them. We use Google Workspace — Google Sheets, Apps Script, and Gmail — to receive and store these messages; Google processes that data on our behalf under its own terms. We don't share your information with anyone else except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry details for up to 24 months so we can follow up and keep a record of work we've discussed, then delete them — or sooner if you ask. If we go on to build your site, related project information is kept for as long as we work together.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@noprofits.org and we'll take care of it. There is no charge, and you don't need a reason.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
